Extended-Abstract Submission
Step 1: Create the Extended Abstract using the Template
Prepare a PDF of your extended abstract of 2 to 4 pages, including supporting illustrations as appropriate. It is recommended to use the paper template, MS-Word-formatted: see also manuscript-instructions-thmt-25.pdf). If you prefer to use LaTeX as your word processor, please download the Latex-Template.zip file, which includes all necessary styles and instructions. We highly recommend to use the Overleaf platform (www.overleaf.com) for preparing your manuscript in LaTeX, as it eliminates the need to install LaTeX locally. If you do not use LaTeX, you can follow these instructions as general guidelines for formatting and layout, or download the appropriate template for your word processor.
At this phase of extended-abstract submission, it is not necessary to decide on copyright transfer or open access (OA), and changing the header related to the copyright statement is not mandatory.
Step 2: Submit the Extended Abstract via Confit
Submit your Extended Abstract online through the separate website (thmt.confit.atlas.jp). The corresponding author is required to create an account on Confit. After registering an account, please log-in and follow the guidelines displayed to submit a new submission of Extended Abstract. You can also modify and check your submission on the same site.
The submission deadline is November 30, 2024 (23:59 JST). Revisions can be made at any time up until this date.
Final-Paper Submission (after notification of acceptance)

Copyright
Each manuscript for the edited proceedings (published by Begell House Inc.) must be accompanied by a signed Copyright Statement. Further instructions regarding the copyright transfer process will be provided at a later date. Please note that without the transfer of rights, the manuscript cannot be included in the proceedings.
Open Access
Open Access (OA) contributing papers (without copyright transfer and thus not included in the proceedings) are also welcome and will be distributed to the participants. Interested authors are encouraged to submit a final paper (4–8 pages) following the same procedure as for final papers that will be included in the proceedings.
